This is a collection of country churches found on the back roads of Texas. These photos are taken with an infrared camera and converted to black and white. Profits from the sale of photos in this gallery will be donated to Texas Land Conservancy.

Birds come in an amazing variety of sizes and colors. These photos were taken mainly in South Africa or Desert Photo Retreat outside Tucson, Arizona. Profits from the sale of photos in this gallery will be donated to either the African Wildlife Foundation or the National Audubon Society.

Even though (maybe because) I live in the city, I love wide open spaces and big skies. I enjoy looking at the landscapes I have captured and being transported back to where they were taken - like a momentary vacation. I love watching wild animals interact with each other and their environment. The bonds between family members are especially wonderful to witness. This collection features photographs from my recent trip to Svalbard, Norway. The landscape was breathtaking, but I especially loved watching the polar bears and their reactions to us and their interactions with each other. I am captivated by abandoned buildings for some reason. I think I am drawn in by the their untold stories, by the desire to know what I cannot know. There are so many cool things that happen at sunset, sunrise and the hours in between. I enjoy capturing photos during those hours - the colors seem more vivid and sometimes the camera captures things your eye cannot see.
